Onsite facilities
We have fully accessible facilities on site, including a tearoom, gift shop and play area.
Northdale has a range of facilities on site for the use of our visitors:
- A fully stocked gift shop selling a wide range of plants and products produced by our various work departments and activities.
- A client lead café open Monday to Friday .
- A play area, which features ten pieces of play equipment, including a wheelchair swing, a chair swing and a sand pit. The play area also has a fully wheelchair-accessible play platform.
- A well-established woodland trail, which is accessible throughout the year.
- An adult trim trail.
Accessibility
- The site is wheelchair accessible throughout and we have a wheelchair that can be borrowed by people visiting the site.
- Northdale has fully accessible toilets with hoist and changing facilities, and is a registered changing place.
Schools and communities
The grounds at Northdale are open for school and community use throughout the year and we always welcome groups of volunteers from local businesses who wish to access the site for team-building or community volunteering activities.
