Becoming a Volunteer at Northdale

The work and support provided by volunteers is crucial to our ongoing work. The role of the volunteer at Northdale is to provide support for adults with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities, so that the individuals being supported might take part in our work-based activities.

NB Please note if you would like to volunteer for Gig Buddies then please click on the Leisure Services page.

Volunteers may work with individuals or with small groups. At no time will volunteers be asked to support members without the support and guidance of a work-team supervisor or instructor.

We are happy to support volunteer training such as Safeguarding Alerter, Makaton Level 1, Epilepsy Awareness and Mental Health Awareness.
