The Anne Baker Bursary Fund was established in 2018 to commemorate the life and work of Anne Baker and to honour Anne’s tireless commitment to the advancement of adults and young people with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities.

Thomas and his mum applied to the Bursary fund for some ICT to support his communication and independence. This was to help give Thomas some independent choice and control at home. with his iPad, apps, smart sockets and Alexa all set up, he can now control various appliances. He is able to switch lights on and off, control what is on the Tv and other electrical items within the home.
It is great to see Thomas so happy, and we are proud for Thomas to be the first recipient of support from the Anne Baker Bursary Fund!
