From April 2005, artists from Rural Arts worked with Northdale Horticulture to create a series of nature based sculptures.

Six artists developed pieces with various groups (such as Chopsticks) who visit the centre, constructed from:

  • Found timber - by Rick Haveley - 'Snake and Owl'
  • Wire & Plaster - by Hilary Burt - 'Organic Form'
  • Glazed Ceramics - Angela Hall - 'Totem Poles'

On the day the sculpture trail was launched, artist Rick Havely also constructed an 'Arch of Pebbles' over a newly created pond.

This project was funded by Awards for All
